Getting started: a learning guide
A guided reading path through this site — the first article to read, how to move from basics to treatment questions, and how to use search and the glossary.
If you read only one article
Start with “What is regenerative medicine? Basic knowledge to begin with.” Once you understand the term and the difference between research and care, every later article becomes much easier.
It takes about two minutes. Look up unfamiliar words in the glossary as you go.
Reading paths by goal
To learn mechanisms, read “The basics” then “Stem cells.” To consider treatment, start with the question lists, cost, and risk articles under “Considering treatment.”
If a news story raised a question, the “Research and news” reading guides help. Category pages let you choose by theme.
How to use this site
Each article opens with key points. Reading only the key points is fine when time is short. Use the table of contents to jump to sections of interest when you want detail.
Search combines keywords and categories. Individual medical consultations are not offered, so always discuss treatment decisions with a physician.
