Corrections and updates
How we handle factual errors, how articles are updated and re-reviewed, and how to report a problem to the editors.
Handling corrections
When factual errors are found, content is verified and promptly fixed, with important corrections recording the passage, reason, and date inside the article. Minor wording fixes and substantive corrections are handled separately.
Update guidelines
Related articles are rechecked when systems change or new findings emerge. Use each article's update date to judge freshness. Note publication timing when citing older information.
How to report issues
Share the URL, passage, comment, and source reference through the contact page. Editors verify reports and consult reviewers when needed.
